A SIMPLER TIME
Housed in an historical building on a charming Greenwich Village corner, Hamilton’s Soda Fountain & Luncheonette plays homage to the New York of the 1940s, when automats dotted the streets and a perfect day involved a rollerskate through the park followed by a pop into the local soda fountain. Well-established by then as an artistic mecca, Greenwich Village in the ’40s was abuzz with music, laughter and the sort of youthful spirit embodied by the atmosphere at Hamilton’s, where it’s always refreshment time.
